Dear customer,


Amendments by the Client:
Any amendment made to the original booking is subject to availability. If the full payment has been received, and/or voucher has been issued, NO administrative fees will be applied. Except in the flight tickets issue there will be an administrative fee.   Note that if you desire a specific change, we may not be able to guarantee the change would be possible if we have already booked an item already, as many companies and services are not able to make changes, or have the availabilities to make such changes.  All changes depend on availability, and the policies of the agencies involved.

 

Payment Policy:
Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired day(s), space will be secured upon receipt of a deposit of 50%.  A 50% deposit is required for bookings during the Christmas and New Year holidays and/or if the packages included flights.

Your deposit is used towards your final payment. Deposits can be made by a bank wire transfer, Western Union, Money Gram, and as a last solution, we can accept Paypal.  Paypal payments must be given 10 days to process before an e-receipt (confirmation of payment of funds) is provided.  If you wish to pay using PayPal, please send us a message informing of your wish, and we will provide you with the details to process the payment at that time.

All fees incurred by Western Union, Money Gram, or Paypal must be paid for by the customer, and not our company.  If we are forced to pay the fees, we will ask for re-imbursement for those fees, which will require you to make another transfer and pay another fee.

Your deposit should be received by us within 7 days of booking. The remaining balance of the payment is due immediately upon arrival in Egypt in cash.  It is advised and encouraged to make the full payment before your arrival to ensure there are no delays or issues that could arise, but it is not required.  Always ask for a receipt for any payments/deposits made, that includes the name and contact information of the person that you gave it to if you are making the payment upon arrival.  Contact us before making your payment to anyone upon arrival, to ensure you are giving your money to the correct individual.   There are many people that will try to take advantage of tourists, so please make sure you know who you need to give the money to.  Don’t trust anyone without speaking to us directly first. It is better to be safe than sorry.  We are not held liable for any loss due to money being given to someone without our acknowledgment and approval.

 

Cancellation:
Cancellation should be received in writing by email.

Before 40 days from departure – Transactions Fees:
If cancellation is made before 40 days from the departure date it, will be subjected to 6% of the total amount received.  In this instance, there will be a 6% transaction fee, which is calculated from the total amount paid thus far.  It will be deducted from the amount of the refund before the refund is returned to you.

Cancellation fees:
If you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
40 and 30 days before your arrival date:
25% of the entire tour price will be deducted.

Between 29 and 15 days before your arrival date:
50% of the entire tour price will be deducted.

Between 14 and 7 days before your arrival date:
75% of the entire tour price will be deducted.

Between 7 and 1 days before your c  c :
100% of the entire tour price will be deducted. Also, there is a cancellation fee on all domestic flights in case you book a tour and you would like to cancel it at any time before starting your tours. The cancellation fees of the domestic flights are subject to the airlines cancellation policy which changes from case to case.  Check with your airline for their fees and policies.
Refunds:
A refund will normally be made to the same card account and using the same method as the original payment. No refunds are possible for No-Shows. If you fail to appear for your tour for any reason that is not a fault of ours, there are no refunds.  We are sorry to enforce this policy, but we have to pay for majority of things such as reservations, travel fees (transfers), tour-guides, drivers, hotels, cruises, etc in advance, and they do not offer refunds, thus forcing us to have the policy as well.
Accommodation:
Unless otherwise stated, generally it is based on two persons sharing a room (twin sharing). Room for single occupant is available with an additional of supplementary rate. Hotels and lodges are named as an indication/guide of category and rooms may be reserved at similar establishments. Published prices are based on tariff and other costs prevailing at the time of printing, and are subject to change without notice.
Flights:
“MyEgyptTravel” can assist you with international flights if needed. However, from our experience international flights are best issued from point of departure, where the client has access to a wider range of price options and availability.  We advise that you purchase your flight tickets directly thru the airline, travel agent, or website with the best price quote.  It will also ensure less difficulties if a problem was to arise with the flight/airline/payments, etc.
Our Responsibility & Liabilities:
We act only as an agent for the participants in regard to travel, whether by rail road, boat, aircraft, or any other convenience and assumes no liability for injury, illness, damage, loss accident, delay or irregularity to person or property resulting directly or indirectly from any of the following causes; -Weather, acts of God, force major, acts of government or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, labor disputes, riots, theft, mechanical breakdowns, quarantines or acts of default, delays, cancellations or changes of any hotel, carrier, or restaurant. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expenses.
Special Requests:
If you have any special requests, you should inform us at the time of booking. “MyEgyptTravel” and its suppliers will try to meet such requests; but, as these do not form part of the Contract, we do not guarantee to do so, including for pre-bookable seats. If we confirm that a special request has been noted or passed to the supplier or refers to it on the confirmation invoice or elsewhere, this is not a guarantee to meet it. You may/may not be specially notified if a special request cannot be met. We do not accept bookings which are conditional on the fulfillment of any special request.
Children Policy:
1st Policy: For Packages + Nile Cruises + Hotels
0 – 01.99 years of age:        Free of Charge
2 – 5.99 years of age:        25% of total tour cost
6 – 11.99 years of age:        50% of total tour cost
12+ Are considered adults
*If your tour package includes flights, an extra supplement for your child may apply.
2nd Policy: For sightseeing tours & shore excursions
0 – 5.99 years of age:        free of charge
6 – 11.99 years of age:        50 % of total tour cost
12 + are considered adults
*If your sightseeing tours include domestic flights, an extra supplement for your child may apply.
Tipping:
Tipping is a customary attitude for expressing ones satisfaction of good services rendered to him by staff on duty with him. We advise if you are willing to offer it, this would be great – if not, you are not obliged to do it.
Complaints:
If you have a complaint while you are in Egypt, please notify the company (MyEgyptTravel) immediately, as most problems can be solved on the spot, if you feel your problem has still not been resolved please call the chairman of the company, but if after you return home you are still not satisfied you must write to the Egyptian travel agent association. It is unlikely that you will have a complaint that cannot be settled amicably between us, however, if this is not the case any dispute arising out of, or in connection with this contract, may (if you wish) be referred to the Egyptian Tourism Ministry in Cairo.
Acceptance of the agreement:
The contract constituted by MyEgyptTravel’s acceptance of the client’s booking is subject to the booking conditions stated, and shall constitute the entire agreement between the client and MyEgyptTravel.  The payment of a deposit or final payment by bank transfer or Western Union or Money Gram indicates that tour participants have read and accepted all terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
