Six days, three cities, two flights, and one beach resort. This is the tour for travelers who want the historical highlights AND a few days on the Red Sea. Cairo gets you the Pyramids. Luxor gets you Karnak and the Valley of the Kings. Hurghada gets you nothing to do but swim, eat, and sleep — which is exactly the point.
The Hurghada portion is at the Marriott Beach Resort, full board: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and soft drinks included. If you don’t drink alcohol, you spend almost nothing for two days.

About the flights
Two flights are included: Cairo → Luxor on Day 2, and Hurghada → Cairo on Day 5. Both on EgyptAir, economy class. Luggage: 23 kg checked, 7 kg carry-on per person.
Important note on pricing: The $1,100 price includes both flights, but flight prices change. Booked 3+ months out, the flights total about $180-250 per person. Last-minute (under 3 weeks), they can reach $400-500 per person, and we’ll quote you the difference before confirming. We don’t markup the flights — you pay what EgyptAir charges. Honest notes
Day 3 is long. You see the West Bank tombs in the morning, then drive 4 hours to Hurghada. You arrive around 6 PM, tired. That’s the trade-off — you get 2 full nights in Hurghada, but the travel day is heavy.
Hurghada is a resort town. Everything is built for tourists — the shops, the restaurants, the dive centers. If you want authentic Egyptian life, this isn’t it. If you want a beach with good weather and a clean hotel, it’s perfect.
The Red Sea has some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world. The reefs around Giftun Island are 30 minutes by boat. Visibility is 20-30 meters. If you dive, plan a full day for it (Day 4) — a two-tank dive trip costs $70-100 and includes equipment.
Day 5 is packed. Flight, then Citadel, then Old Cairo, then Khan el-Khalili. If you want to slow down, tell us and we can move Khan el-Khalili to Day 6 morning before your flight.
The Valley of the Kings tombs are hot inside — 30°C even in winter. Bring water and go early.
