Itinerary:

My Egypt Travel offers you the chance to maximize your time in Cairo by flying from Sharm el-Sheikh to visit the city’s most famous sites, including the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).

Early morning transfer from your hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh to Sharm Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, your private Egyptologist guide will meet you and introduce you to the history of the Pyramids of Giza. You will have time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), but your guide is not permitted to escort you inside.

A short drive across the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the enigmatic Sphinx.

Next, visit the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). The museum houses a massive collection of Egyptian artifacts, but the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his magnificent death mask and six gilded coffins, are the highlight.

Lunch will be included at a local restaurant.

Continuing to Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, you’ll enjoy free time to stroll through the maze of streets and bargain for souvenirs of your trip. You will also have the chance to visit a Papyrus Institute to see how the famous artwork is made.

In the late afternoon, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport for your return flight to Sharm el-Sheikh, followed by a transfer back to your hotel.
