Day 1: Gouna to Luxor – East Bank Temples & Karnak Show

• Your My Egypt Travel representative will pick you up from your hotel in Gouna by air-conditioning modern vehicle (bus) for the drive to Luxor.
• Upon arrival, you will visit the Temple of Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man, representing the combined achievements of many pharaohs.
• Next, visit the Temple of Luxor, the center of the important Festival of Opet, built largely by Amenhotep III and Rameses II.
• Check into your hotel in Luxor. (Overnight)
• Evening: Attend the spectacular Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple, which narrates the history and glorious achievements of the great pharaohs.

Day 2: Luxor – West Bank & Return to Gouna

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out.
• Your private guide will take you to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers (18th to 20th dynasty).
• Continue to Hatshepsut Temple. See the spectacular temple built by the queen who would-be king, one of the best-preserved of its kind.
