My Egypt Travel arranges this exclusive full-day excursion, traveling by flight from Luxor to explore the modern and ancient wonders of Giza. This itinerary allows you to see Cairo’s essentials without requiring an overnight stay.
Early morning transfer from your hotel in Luxor to Luxor International Airport (LXR) for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport (CAI), your private Egyptologist guide will meet you.
Your private tour begins with a fascinating introduction to the three Giza Pyramids: Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure, along with the magnificent Sphinx. You will have time for photos and the option to enter one of the Pyramids (ticket not included).
Next, you will head to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Your guide will walk you through the museum’s incredible exhibits, focusing on the highly anticipated, complete collection of King Tutankhamun’s treasures, which dominate the main halls.
Following the visits, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred back to Cairo International Airport for your return flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor, a private driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
