You will be picked up from your hotel in Marsa Alam by air-conditioned bus for the long-distance transfer to Luxor.

West Bank Discovery Tour

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will cross the Nile River to the West Bank, the necropolis of the ancient city of Thebes.

1. Valley of the Kings: Arriving at the burial place of the kings of Thebes (ancient Luxor), you will have a brief stop at the visitors center. Guides are not permitted inside the tombs, but your guide will brief you on what to look for inside the elaborately decorated rooms. You will have time to explore the decorated tombs. If you wish to visit the tomb of King Tutankhamun, an additional cost is payable direct.

2. Temple of Hatshepsut: Leaving the hot sands of the Valley of the Kings, you will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. Your guide will introduce you to the history of the temple and the story of Queen Hatshepsut, the famous female ruler of Egypt. You will have free time to explore its large courtyards and intricate decorations.

3. Colossi of Memnon: Returning towards the East Bank, there will be time for a brief photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the remaining statues of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III.

4. Alabaster Factory: In addition, you will have the chance to visit an alabaster factory and observe a demonstration of local crafts, with the option to purchase genuine items if you wish.

Finally, your private vehicle will commence the return drive back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.
