Day 1 — Arrival in Cairo
On arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by a My Egypt Travel representative who will assist with airport formalities and transfer you to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to settle in and prepare for the journey ahead.

Day 2 — Giza Plateau and Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast your Egyptologist guide escorts you to the Giza Plateau to view the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant with views of the pyramids, then continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum to see the Tutankhamun collection and major pharaonic exhibits.
Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3 — Fly Cairo to Luxor and East Bank Visit
After breakfast transfer to Cairo airport for a short flight to Luxor. On arrival, explore Karnak Temple with its vast hypostyle hall and then visit Luxor Temple. Check in to your Nile cruise at lunchtime and relax on board. In the evening there is the option to visit Luxor Temple by night.

Day 4 — Dendera and Abydos Day Trip then Embark
This full day departs Luxor for Dendera to visit the beautifully preserved Temple of Hathor with its zodiac ceiling and roof access. Continue to Abydos to explore the temple complex of Seti I and the royal necropolis area.
Return to Luxor and embark on the Nile cruise for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 — West Bank Luxor then Sail to Edfu
Early morning optional hot air balloon (subject to availability). Visit the Valley of the Kings, the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Rejoin the cruise for lunch and sail through the Esna Lock toward Edfu, enjoying the river scenery.
Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 6 — Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo
After breakfast visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu. Return to the cruise for lunch as you sail to Kom Ombo, where you’ll explore the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus.
Continue sailing to Aswan for evening and overnight.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 7 — Aswan Sites and Disembarkation
Visit Aswan’s High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and take a motorboat to Philae Temple on Agilkia Island. Enjoy a felucca sail around Elephantine Island. After lunch disembark and transfer to Aswan airport for your flight to Cairo.
On arrival in Cairo transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 8 — Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight home, taking with you memories of ancient temples and Nile horizons.
