In Egypt, the standard voltage is 220 V, and the frequency is 50 Hz. The most common plug types are:
- Type C (Europlug): Two round pins
- Type F (Schuko): Two round pins with earth clips (compatible with Type C)
If your electronic devices use plugs other than Type C or F (such as UK, US, or Australian plugs), you’ll need a plug adapter. Most modern chargers (phones, laptops) are dual voltage, but always check your device; if it is not compatible with 220V, bring a voltage converter as well.
