Egypt uses the European standard power socket types C and F, with a voltage of 220V and frequency of 50Hz. Most travelers will need a plug adapter for these types; Type C has two round pins, and Type F is similar but with two grounding clips on the side. If your devices are from the UK, US, or other regions, bring a universal adapter and check that your electronics support 220V to avoid damage.
