What seasonal weather extremes should I prepare for on my trip?

Egypt’s climate features some seasonal extremes to keep in mind when planning your trip. Summers (May–September) can be very hot, especially in southern areas and the desert, often exceeding 40°C (104°F). Winters (December–February) are mild but sometimes chilly at night, especially in the desert. Spring may bring dusty “khamsin” winds, and coastal regions can have occasional winter rains.
We recommend packing light clothing and sunscreen for summer, layers for colder nights, and keeping an eye on weather updates. For personalized packing tips and updates, just ask us in live chat!
