Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo
Arrive in Cairo, where My Egypt Travel representative will assist with visa formalities and escort you to your hotel for check-in and a welcome drink. In the evening, you may enjoy an optional Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids, introducing you to Egypt’s ancient legends.

Day 2 – Pyramids, Memphis & Saqqara
After breakfast, meet your Egyptologist guide to explore the Great Pyramids of Giza, The Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Continue to Saqqara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, and visit Memphis, the ancient capital, to see the colossal statue of Ramses II. Lunch included at a local restaurant. In the evening, board the sleeper train to Aswan.

Day 3 – Welcome to Aswan
Arrive in Aswan, meet your guide, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time to relax by the Nile or join an optional Sound and Light Show at Philae Temple — a magical introduction to the goddess Isis.

Day 4 – Journey to Abu Simbel
After breakfast, travel across the desert to Abu Simbel, where you’ll check in and enjoy free time before an optional Sound and Light Show at the temple, bringing Ramses II’s story to life under the stars.

Day 5 – Abu Simbel Sun Festival
Rise before dawn to witness the magnificent Abu Simbel Sun Festival — when the rising sun pierces the temple to illuminate the statues of Ramses II, Amun-Ra, and Ra-Horakhty. This ancient spectacle is celebrated by locals with music and joy. Later, return to Aswan for overnight.

Day 6 – Aswan Highlights & Nile Cruise
After breakfast, embark on your Nile Cruise and begin your sailing adventure. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Philae Temple, then enjoy a relaxing Felucca sail around Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens.

Day 7 – Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples
Sail north to Kom Ombo and visit its unique twin temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. Continue sailing to Edfu, where horse carriages will take you to the grand Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved sanctuaries.

Day 8 – Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple
Sail to Luxor and cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, burial site of the Pharaohs, including the tomb of Tutankhamun. Visit the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the towering Colossi of Memnon. Return to your cruise for lunch and relaxation. Optional evening: Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple.

Day 9 – Luxor Temples and Train to Cairo
Disembark your cruise and explore the Karnak Temple Complex, a vast religious sanctuary that evolved over 2,000 years. Continue to the Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Later, transfer to the train station for your sleeper train back to Cairo.

Day 10 – Cairo City Tour
Arrive in Cairo and visit the Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 artifacts including the treasures of Tutankhamun. Continue to the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and Coptic Cairo, where you’ll see the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
