Day 1: Arrival in Cairo, Egypt
Arrive at Cairo International Airport (CAI). Your My Egypt Travel representative will be waiting to meet you after customs and baggage collection. You will be transferred by private, A/C vehicle directly to your hotel. Check-in and enjoy your first evening in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza, Saqqara & Sleeper Train to Aswan
Start the day by visiting Memphis, Egypt’s ancient capital, followed by the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara. Continue to the Giza Plateau to explore the Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus and the iconic Sphinx. Transfer to Giza train station for the overnight sleeper train south.
Accommodation: Overnight Sleeper Train to Aswan (Half Board).

Day 3: Aswan Sightseeing & Relaxation
Enjoy breakfast onboard before arriving in Aswan. Visit the Aswan High Dam, the site of the Unfinished Obelisk, and the beautiful island temple of Philae. Transfer to your Aswan hotel. Optional: Attend the Sound & Light Show at Philae Temple.

Day 4: Journey to Abu Simbel & Festival Eve
Enjoy breakfast. Around 11:00 AM, join the police-escorted convoy for the 3-hour drive to Abu Simbel. Check into your hotel and enjoy free time. Optional: Attend the magnificent Sound & Light Show at Abu Simbel Temples in the evening.

Day 5: Sun Festival & Lake Nasser Cruise Boarding
THE MAIN EVENT: Early morning transfer to witness the Abu Simbel Sun Festival—the moment the sun’s rays align perfectly on the statue of Ramses II. After the event, transfer to board your 5-Star Lake Nasser Cruise vessel. Lunch is served onboard, followed by a visit to the Abu Simbel Temples.

Day 6: Kasr Ibrim Citadel View
Enjoy a relaxing morning cruising along Lake Nasser. Lunch is served as you sail towards Kasr Ibrim. Upon arrival, a guided tour of the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim will be conducted from the ship’s sundeck (entrance to the site is prohibited). Dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 7: Amada & Wadi El Seboua Exploration
Early sailing to Amada. Guided tour to visit the relocated Temples of Amada, Derr, and the Tomb of Penout. Return for lunch onboard while sailing to Wadi El Seboua. Upon arrival, visit the Temple of Dakka and the Temple of Meharakka. Dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 8: Kalabsha Temple & Sailing to Aswan
Sail back towards Aswan, crossing the Tropic of Cancer. Upon arrival in Aswan, disembark for a tour to visit the massive Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Return to the cruise ship for dinner. Overnight onboard.

Day 9: Luxor’s Grand Temples & Flight to Cairo
Disembark the cruise after breakfast. Drive three hours to Luxor. Cross to the West Bank to visit the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings (entry to 3 tombs), and the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut. Next, visit the East Bank’s Karnak Temple. Transfer to Luxor Airport for a flight back to Cairo.

Day 10: Cairo History: Museum, Citadel & Old Cairo
Full day tour of Cairo. Visit the Egyptian Museum (optional visit to the Mummies Room). Next, explore the Citadel of Saladin and the beautiful Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Finish the day exploring Coptic Cairo, including the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Day 11: Final Departure
