Five days for two. Two nights in Cairo for the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Two nights at an adults-only Red Sea resort in Hurghada for the beach, the spa, and doing nothing. It’s the honeymoon for couples who want the Pyramids but also want to lie on a beach and not think about anything.
The Cairo portion is private — your own guide, your own vehicle, your own pace. A private felucca dinner on the Nile on Day 1. The Giza Plateau at 8 AM before the tour buses.
The Red Sea portion is at Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle — an adults-only (18+) all-inclusive resort. No children, no kids’ club, no splashing. Just couples, pool, beach, and a good restaurant. This is not the aquapark resort — that’s a different property in the same chain.
What you actually see
Cairo — Days 1-2. Day 1 is arrival, welcome with roses, and a private felucca dinner on the Nile. Day 2 covers the Giza Plateau in the morning (early, before the crowds) and the Grand Egyptian Museum in the afternoon. Back at the hotel by 4 PM. Evening free.
Hurghada — Days 3-4. Fly to Hurghada in the morning (1 hour). Check in at Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle. Afternoon at the pool or beach. Day 4 is a full free day — nothing scheduled. Optional: snorkeling, diving, or a couples spa treatment at the resort.
Cairo — Day 5. Fly back to Cairo. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure.
About Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle
Pure Lifestyle is an adults-only (18+) resort on the Red Sea coast. All-inclusive. The design is modern and minimal — white, wood, natural light. It’s the Steigenberger property for couples, not families.
What it has: Private beach with sun loungers and cabanas. Two pools — a main pool and a quiet adults-only pool. Three restaurants (Mediterranean, Asian, International). A spa with couples’ treatment rooms. A beach bar and a rooftop bar. Evening entertainment is low-key (live music, not shows).
What it doesn’t have: No kids’ club, no aquapark, no water slides, no children under 18 at all. This is intentional. If you want the aquapark or a family environment, we swap you to the Steigenberger Aqua Magic (same chain).
Food and drinks: All-inclusive covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks (soft drinks, local beer, wine, and spirits). Imported spirits and champagne are extra. À la carte restaurants require reservations — book at check-in.
The hotels
Steigenberger Pyramids (Cairo, 2 nights). 5-star, pyramid views from some rooms. Room set up with rose petals and sparkling wine on arrival. Pool, several restaurants, spa. 10 minutes from the Giza plateau.
Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle (Hurghada, 2 nights). 5-star adults-only. All-inclusive. Private beach, two pools, spa, three restaurants. Room upgraded to sea-view where available. Rose petals and sparkling wine on arrival.
About the flight

Honest notes
Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle is adults-only (18+). No children allowed anywhere on the property. If you’re traveling with kids, this is not the tour for you — book the 5-day Cairo & Red Sea Family Tour instead.
This is a short trip. Two nights in Cairo is enough for the Pyramids and the GEM, but not enough for Saqqara, the Egyptian Museum, or Old Cairo. If you want more Cairo, add a night. We can extend by one night in Cairo for about $180-220 per room.
The Cairo → Hurghada flight is in the morning. Day 3 starts at 6 AM. Tell your body this is worth it for two full nights at the Red Sea.
Day 5 is a travel day. Fly back from Hurghada in the morning or early afternoon, then connect to your international departure in Cairo. If your international flight leaves Cairo in the morning, you need an extra night in Cairo — tell us at booking.
The private felucca dinner in Cairo is weather-dependent. If it’s windy or the Nile is rough, we move the dinner indoors at a Nile-view restaurant. We tell you the day before.
Snorkeling and diving at Pure Lifestyle are good but not the best in the Red Sea. The house reef is decent — visibility 15-20 meters, some coral and fish. For world-class reefs (Giftun Island, 20-30 meter visibility), book a boat trip through the resort ($40-60 per person, half-day). We can arrange it if you want.
Best time of year: October to April for Cairo (22-25°C). Hurghada is warm year-round. Summer (June-August) is 40°C+ at the Red Sea — the pool and sea are still great, but you won’t want to leave the resort. Winter (Dec-Feb) is 22-24°C at the Red Sea — perfect for beach days.

- Honeymooners who want Pyramids + beach but only have 5 days

- Anyone who wants a quiet desert retreat (this is a Red Sea beach resort)
