Itinerary:
In the early morning, you will be transferred from your hotel in Cairo-to-Cairo Airport for a flight to Abu Simbel. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to see the magnificent Temples of Ramses II. The Great Temple was dedicated to the four universal gods (Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re) and Ramses II himself, earning it the name “The Sun Temple of Ramesses II.” You will also visit the Temple of Queen Nefertari, dedicated to Hathor, symbolically uniting the Pharaohs and the gods.
You will then proceed to Abu Simbel Airport for a short connecting flight to Aswan. My Egypt Travel representative will meet and assist you upon arrival.
Your Aswan tour begins with a visit to the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in the 1960s. Proceed next to the Unfinished Obelisk, which reveals the ingenious techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks from solid rock. Finally, visit the majestic Philae Temple, and enjoy a brief, relaxing visit to the Botanical Garden and Elephantine Island via boat.
In the evening, you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo.
