Very early in the morning, your My Egypt Travel representative and personal tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo. You will drive 95 km southwest of Cairo by a modern private A/C vehicle to Fayoum City to witness the city’s best highlights.
Your sightseeing begins at Qarun Lake, the oldest natural lake in the world. This is the time to witness truly magical scenes of nature around the lake, which covers almost 53,000 acres of the Fayoum Valley. Learn how the lake served as the main water source that enabled ancient agriculture and settlement in the Fayoum Oasis for millennia.
The tour continues to Wadi El Rayan, one of the world’s rarest protected areas. This tranquil environment is characterized by captivating sand dunes, natural springs, and a calm desert.
